With over a decade of experience in public schools and advanced training in neurodiversity, giftedness, and twice-exceptionality, I offers a wide range of professional services, including:

Facilitation of Special Education Meetings: Expertise in managing annual reviews, reevaluations, manifestation determination reviews, functional behavior assessments (FBA), and behavior intervention plan (BIP) reviews.

Comprehensive Evaluations: My extensive library of assessment tools allow me to efficiently and thoroughly evaluate general intelligence, social-emotional functioning, adaptive skills, and more.

Behavioral Support (FBA/BIP): Drawing from my experience as a district behavior specialist and many years as a school psychologist, I am well versed and practiced in conducting functional behavior assessments and develop practical behavior intervention plans with full stakeholder buy-in.

Mental Health Services: I align my social-emotional learning (SEL) groups with IEP goals, using established curricula such as Zones of Regulation, Superflex, We Thinkers, and more.

MTSS Leadership: Proficient in leading Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) teams, sometimes referred to as Response to Intervention (RtI) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), to implement targeted interventions for academic and behavioral needs at all tiers.

Gifted and Talented Programming: I've designed SEL groups, mentoring systems, book studies, leadership opportunities, and passion projects for GT populations. I am skilled in screening and identifying giftedness in academic aptitudes, general intelligence, and less common areas such as visual/performing arts and leadership, following CDE criteria.

Consultation: I have a track record of building strong relationships with educators to address academic and behavioral challenges, and providing guidance for effective parent communication.

Parent Support: Facilitating home-school collaboration, connecting families with community resources, and serving as a positive liaison for parents within the school system.

Crisis Intervention: Experienced in conducting risk assessments for suicide and threats and fulfilling mandatory reporting duties. I am able to show up for the students in these vulnerable moments.
